I consider myself very lucky to have found this hotel as I'm extremely picky. The hotel was impeccable and enjoys an excellent location which is just literally less than a minute to Istiklal street. I was concerned that my requests may not entirely be met as I specifically requested for a higher room with balcony (as I'm a smoker and don't like to smoke inside the room). The hotel team communicated with me and, to my surprise, they have booked me exactly what I was looking for!!! The room was very spacious, brand new. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable and cleanliness was superb. What amazed me also is their attention and their warm welcome. They genuinely care about their guests! As I was staying during New Year, they placed me a gift and a personalized letter that was very lovely. Upon check-in, the reception team was very accommodating and explained all services and same thing upon check-out. Breakfast was varied and neat. I really recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Istanbul. I know for sure I will certainly book Mukarnas hotel as I frequently travel to Istanbul across the year and hope to get the same room when I return next time.

The hotel was new, great location (a stone throw away from Istiklal Street), well managed and clean. The room with a hamam was as depicted in the photos and clean. Bed was comfortable, all amenities were present, and everything smelled fresh. The housekeeper, Ms. Pervin, was so nice, changed our sheets and towels on a daily basis. Breakfast area was neat and food was aplenty (and delicious too). Staff at breakfast were very attentive and accommodating. We need to recognize the staff working at the reception, specifically Manger Fatih and Bellboy Kerem, who went out of their way to accommodate us. In fact, they made great recommendations for dinner and cultural shows, made reservations for us, which we do appreciate, but most of all they made us feel like part of their hotel family! Thank you to all.

I'd recommend it to everyone Positives • New Hotel, Infrastructures on top • Quality service delivery, everyone is just so courteous • Perfectly located (Istiklal street is 5 mins walk, also close to taksim square, galata - approx 20 mins walk) • Pharmacy is next to the hotel • Metro station is 10-15mins walk • The number of restaurants/shops near the hotels, omg • Bed is sublimely comfortable, did not miss my bed • Very clean room, staff's hospitality on top • Gym is nice (open 24hrs) - but there should be a protocol for guests to bring their towels, found some gym equipments to be damp in sweats/water previously used by guests • No issues with air conditioning

What really stood out was how the staff went above and beyond—offering thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, how to get around, and where to find anything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable and personal.

I don't remember all the names, but during breakfast, there was a sweet lady called Aycha, and another gentleman working in the same shift who provided us with recommendations on where to go and what to avoid. The breakfast was fantastic with a large variety and different options each day. Our room was spacious and very clean. Will definitely come back!
